Her leadership is rooted in personal experience—growing up in a single-parent household where housing insecurity was a constant struggle. These early challenges inspired her mission to address systemic barriers in housing, mental health, and family support. This passion ultimately led to the development of the HUG Program (Holistic Urgent Guidance), which provides immediate, compassionate assistance to individuals and families in crisis.

Under Allison’s leadership, AllenWell has become a model for trauma-informed, strength-based service delivery. She brings expertise in conflict resolution, advocacy, ethical decision-making, and culturally responsive care, all of which are embedded in the organization’s framework.

This unique combination of training equips her to approach education and engagement with deep cultural sensitivity, policy awareness, and a strong understanding of the barriers faced by newcomer communities.

In her role, Nadine develops and facilitates workshops that center healing, empowerment, and practical support for families, service providers, and community organizations. Her sessions cover a range of topics including mental wellness, parenting through trauma, cultural humility, and navigating complex systems of care. Known for her grounded, inclusive approach, she creates safe spaces for meaningful dialogue and transformation.
